Three-Letter Entities



When you look under the white sheet of Republican bigotry, there is really nothing -- not even a a ghost. Free markets, small government, strong defense, family values: these aren't ideas, they aren't even really meaningful slogans except as code for punching hippies and brown people and whoever else they don't like today. They' re really more like the words Japanese vendors put on t-shirts because they like the look of English. Meaning, in the normal sense, isn't important.




As an illustration, here's the way a market "free" of regulation really looks.
