A friend of mine writes thats he's joining the Republicans Voting for Obama Because They Can't Stand Any These Assholes, which I completely understand. After all, by any historical standard Obama is a moderate (and milquetoast) Republican, and the members of the Clown Show are now all really plainclothes agents of the KKK.
It truly is as if Ronnie Reagan went out to the Mississippi crossroads and made a deal with the devil, to wit: You can have absolute power, but you must champion ignorance and bigotry to get it. It's been the GOP playbook ever since.
Clearly Newt thinks that offer hasn't expired.
